Myrrha Rojo Vermouth 1L

Myrrha Rojo is the everyday red from the Padró & Co. winery, made for anyone who wants an authentic Catalan vermouth without fuss. Its soft caramel colour, with shades of amber, opens into balsamic notes, aniseed and mountain herbs; stir it and vanilla and clove appear, picked up during ageing, alongside a caramel-like note of candied fruit.

On the palate it starts warm and enveloping, then turns refreshing and elegantly tangy before settling into a soft, velvety sweetness.

It is a vermouth that works as happily over ice with an orange slice as it does in a cocktail, and it has the awards to show for it, including Best Vermouth for Cocktails at the Vinari Catalan Vermouth Awards.

Nose: Balsamic notes, aniseed and mountain herbs; vanilla and cloves emerge when stirred; a caramel-like essence with candied fruits.

Mouth: Initially warm and enveloping, giving way to a blend of refreshing, elegant tanginess and a soft, velvety sweetness.
