ELLA I L'Adam Oliana Extra Virgin Olive Oil 500ml

I L'Adam is the Oliana of the ELLA range: floral and citrusy, and the one the judges in Catalonia placed among their top ten oils in 2024.

ELLA is Az-Azeytun's premium range. The olives are hand-picked in early October while still completely green, rested in a refrigerated chamber for 14–18 hours so they reach the mill at 3–4°C, and worked for just 10–15 minutes. Picking this early gives only 10–12 litres of oil per 100 kg of olives, and an intense, complex oil.

ELLA means "she" in Catalan. The blue tits on the bottle come from the story the family tells of a girl in the old olive grove and the bird she raised there.

Nose: Rose, orange peel, tomato leaf and green almond.

Palate: Smooth and harmonious, very well balanced, with a subtle sweet note on the finish.
